Aircraft Mechanical Fitter

MPI have a short term contract for Aircraft Mechanical Fitters to be located at East Midlands Airport.

Applicants must have previous experience of working on B737cl Landing gear as you will be assisting with landing gear change at the end of the contract.

Rate of pay will be discussed on application.

First part of the contract is to start 14th April through to the 25th April 2025

Up to 12 hours work each day (not guaranteed as with all contracts is subject to change)

You will be required to carry out Cabin Configuration change which will involve the refreshing of cabins.

Duties:

Removing seats

Taking off the seat covers and replacing them  (normally held on by Velcro)  similar to changing your own car seat covers.

Refitting the seats back on aircraft, (maybe in a different configuration)

Refitting fresh carpet.

Then from the 26th April for approx 4-5 days you will be required to assist with B737cl Landing gear changes

Applicants must be residing in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
