Salary: base to £70,000 plus benefits

Atkinson Moss Finance are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Finance Business Partner who, whilst working as part of a team of experienced Finance Business Partners, you will be the Finance lead responsible for period end reporting, forecasting and budgeting for specific divisions of the our clients group.

This opportunity will suit a qualified accountant with c. 2-5 years PQE who is ambitious and self-motivated.

Financial and Business Strategy

  • Deliver relevant and timely information to senior management to facilitate the evaluation of performance against the Group's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Establish financial KPIs to measure the success of both business and financial strategies across all divisions within the Group.

Business Performance Reporting

  • Monitor actual performance against budget and previous year results, analyze outcomes, and provide regular performance reports with insights for senior management and the Board.
  • Ensure routine management reports are delivered promptly, contain reliable and accurate information, and are validated by key stakeholders.
  • Generate regular financial reports that offer a comprehensive view of business and financial performance, including detailed commentary on trends, required actions, and strategic impact.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance communication between the Finance Department and operational leaders across the Group.

Forecasting, Cash Flow Analysis, and Capital Adequacy Projections

  • Create and maintain a robust planning and analysis function to equip senior leaders with tools for tracking the performance of the Group's products and services across all divisions.
  • Manage the end-to-end financial forecasting process, including planning, communication, and data requirements.
  • Leverage financial models and trend analyses to drive decision-making and share relevant insights across the organisation.
  • Prepare professional reports and presentations summarizing forecasts for senior management and the Board.
  • Collaborate with the data team to transform data into actionable insights that support informed decision-making.

Project Reporting and Investment Appraisal

  • Support strategic initiatives and business cases by developing financial models and conducting ad hoc analyses.
  • Lead scenario modelling efforts to evaluate risks and inform decision-making processes.
