Are you an experienced Site Supervisor looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team and oversee site operations, ensuring smooth execution of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

About the Role:

As a Site Supervisor, you will be the primary on-site contact, managing daily operations and liaising with the Construction Manager/Project Manager, subcontractors, and site personnel. Your leadership will ensure that work is completed according to plan, on schedule, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Operations: Oversee daily site activities, coordinate schedules, allocate work, and monitor team performance to maintain productivity and compliance with project timelines.
  • Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for the Construction Manager/Project Manager and site management to address and resolve project issues.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, supervise authorisation of Method Statements/Risk Assessments, and conduct Toolbox Talks.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, ITP/QA checklists, and NCR forms, ensuring all reports are submitted as required.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Plant and Equipment Management: Oversee use and authorisation of lifting equipment/plant and ensure operators hold valid documentation.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and address any challenges or delays, coordinating with the project team to keep projects on track.
  • Team Collaboration: Lead daily site close-down meetings and attend progress and safety meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • CSCS Managers Card
  • SSSTS/SMSTS Certificate (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
  • First Aid at Work Certification.

Note: Applicants should possess the above qualifications or be willing to obtain them immediately following employment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CPCS Slinger Signaller / Crane Supervisor
  • IOSH Safety, Health, and Environment for Construction Site Managers.
  • RTITB Vacuum Lifter Certification.
  • IRATA Certification.
  • PASMA Tower for Users
  • IPAF certification.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Comprehensive expertise in steel, glass, and cladding projects.
  • Proven track record as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Experience in crane and lifting operations (preferred).

  • Ability to manage, motivate, and collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
