Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned maintenance in a highly regulated environment.
- Isolate defective equipment from the power supply, check visually for faults, test mechanical parts, identify problem areas, and take corrective action to repair issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment by ensuring smooth operation and replacing worn and defective parts.
- Install electrical systems and associated equipment, followed by appropriate certification.
- Participate actively in the on-call system, which may require you to become an authorised person.
- Adhere to safety rules and apply good electrical and safety practices.
- Utilise a multi-skilled background with a good understanding of commercial and residential installations-agricultural installation experience is an advantage.
- Undertake company-standard internal workshops and training.
- Follow safe working practices.
- Communicate effectively and have a flexible approach to work patterns.
- Use initiative, pay attention to detail, work both as part of a team and independently, maintain a high standard of organisation, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Diploma or equivalent.
- C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing would be advantageous but not essential.
- 18th Edition preferred but can be provided by the company.
- Full UK Driving Licence is required.

A company vehicle and mobile phone will be supplied. The use of the van can be extended to private use if requested (taxable benefit for HMRC purposes).

Hours per week: 48 Hours per week
Working Times: Monday to Friday, start time from 6am. On call over on alternative weeks / weekends.
Pay Rate: Competitive salary depending on experience, progression routes available as training is completed, and the role taken on.
