NXTGEN Recruitment are working with a well known business based in Diss who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Team Leader on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of the role going permanent. The business is looking for someone who comes with extensive knowledge within Accounts Payable and is able to share this knowledge across the team. Ideally you will have wide transactional finance experience but with a strong focus and understanding of Accounts Payable but most importantly will have experience within managing a team in your previous roles. In this role you will have 8 direct report so being able to prioratise your workloads and show support to your team is a must. Project Management and process improvement is a key responsibility in this role so experience in this area would be highly beneficial.

  • Management of the timely and accurate processing, authorisation and payment of all supplier invoices and employee expense claims
  • Supporting and managing the Accounts Payable Team
  • Process improvement of the accounts payable processes, such as consolidation of invoicing, supplier payment terms and the implementation of purchase ordering
  • Supporting and deputising for Transactional Finance Manager and cover for the other Team Leader
  • Project Management and process improvement is a key responsibility in this role
