Warehouse B2 Forklift License Operative
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse B2 Forklift License Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the loading and unloading of 5 - 10 tonne pallets, as well as moving unusual loads from space to space within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a B2 forklift to load and unload heavy pallets (5 - 10 tonnes).
- Safely transport and position unusual loads within the warehouse.
- Ensure all loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the forklift to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and order picking.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid B2 forklift license.
- Proven experience operating a B2 forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to handle heavy and unusual loads safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
