- Identification and recovery of fault situations on all processing equipment and ancillary devise.
- Ensuring all systems are completed efficiently – Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical.
- Fault finding on AC/DC Drives – Siemens.
- Fault finding on steam systems and resolving.
- Monitoring and adjusting equipment and process conditions to ensure that “right first time” quality is achieved.
- Maximising equipment utilisation by carrying out effective preventative maintenance procedures, timely calibration and routine safety checks on all processing equipment.
- Promoting an environment of continuous improvement at all times and participating in process optimisation projects when appropriate.
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Any other task that may need carrying out.
- Electrical and Mechanical experience – to be able to understand electrical isolation techniques and pneumatic and hydraulic techniques.
- Knowledge of Siemens S5, S7 and Allen Brady PLCs would be desirable.
- Practical experience in electrical and mechanical repairs.
- HNC or Apprenticeship qualified in either mechanical or electrical or both – essential.
- Extensive practical experience in the opposite if only qualified in one area.
