Packing and Despatch Cell Leader

Join our dynamic team at our Head Office and manufacturing facility in Eye, Suffolk. We are seeking a Packing and Despatch Cell Leader to support the growth of our product sales and enhance our distribution network. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of projects as part of our strategic plan.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Undertake tasks necessary to support the company’s packing, transport, and distribution processes to ensure efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Create and sustain a zero-harm environment by adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Distribution department to ensure collections are well-organized, and materials are prepared in advance for efficient loading.
  • Manage the sorting and preparation of sales orders for despatch prior to collection.
  • Oversee the process of driver arrivals and departures, including the loading of vehicles, ensuring all necessary paperwork is signed and provided to the Distribution team.
  • Maintain tidy yard areas and ensure that packed goods are stored within designated areas.
  • Assist the Goods In department with unloading as required.
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably requested, respecting your existing status.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • B1 & B2 fork lift truck certification.
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Initiative-driven with excellent attention to detail.
  • Team player with an open communication style.
  • Positive attitude with efficient communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience & Education:

  • Proven work experience in a dynamic role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
