Maintenance Engineer

My client is a successful Engineering Manufacturing company and they are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their friendly team, working a Monday to Thursday shift of 13:30-23:00

Reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager, the key duties of this role will include:

  • Provide proactive engineering support across the site, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Carry out PPM's.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, applying your Electrical and Mechanical expertise to resolve issues quickly.
  • Complete the relevant engineering documentation on the system.
  • Get involved in small engineering projects, contributing to continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate:

  • A strong foundation in both Electrical and Mechanical engineering, supported by relevant qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Multi-skilled Engineer / Shift Engineer within a medium / heavy engineering environment.
