Strategy Education are looking for two Secondary learning support assistants /teaching assistants for aschool based close to Diss. The school is in a beautiful setting and is rural so a Driving Licence is essential.

These roles are long term contracts with the opportunity to become permanent after a qualifying period.

The purpose of the Teaching Assistant is to support the children with their learning and care whilst in school and other settings.

Managing behaviour in a positive manner.

You will be delivering a personalised learning, tailored to each child s individual needs.

The classes are small with no more that 6-8 students.

Skills required for the role

GCSE's in Maths & English Grade 4 or above.

Experience of working with studentswith SEMH and/or Autism. This experience could have been gained within a special school/alternative provision or mainstream.

The ability to build relationships quickly with the students and staff members.

A good team player and a sense of humour is essential.
