Agency Support Worker

gap healthcare is recruiting for Agency Support Workers and Care Assistants in Ipswich and the surrounding areas. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those they care for.

With a variety of shifts available, including earlies, lates, long days, and nights, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment. You’ll be based within a service that is dedicated to providing high-quality care to its residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Support: Provide personal care and daily assistance to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
• Promote Independence: Encourage and support individuals to maintain their independence, helping them to engage in daily activities to the best of their ability.
• Individualised Support Plans: Follow and contribute to personalised care plans, ensuring each resident’s needs are met with compassion, respect and tailored care.

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year’s UK care experience within a care home or supported living service is essential.
• Skills: Strong communication skills are required, ensuring clear and empathetic interaction with residents and the care team.
• Personal Qualities: You must be compassionate, reliable, and flexible
