Community Care Worker | Suffolk | Full-Time | £13.50 - £30 per hour

Are you the right person for the job?
- Must live within a commutable distance of IP21 5EH
- A clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- A minimum of one year's experience in a care role
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with people from all backgrounds
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confidence in liaising with clients, families, and management
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to accurately record and maintain digital care plans
What will your role look like?
- Promoting independent living while maintaining dignity and respect
- Providing personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting mobility and assisting with mobility aids
- Preparing meals and encouraging healthy eating
- Ensuring clients stay hydrated and supporting medication needs
- Collecting shopping and prescriptions
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in clients' homes
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social activities
- Keeping detailed, accurate records in both digital and paper formats
- Participating in ongoing training, staff meetings, and performance appraisals
Salary Breakdown (per hour):
- Daytime Rate – £13.50
- Evening Rate – £15.00
- Bank Holidays – £18.00
- Christmas & Boxing Day – £30.00
