Job Advert: Warehouse/Forklift Operative
Location: Aylesford, Kent
Leading Printing and Labelling Company (Ink Department)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
£11.50 per hour - Temporary role for 8-12 weeks (could lead to permanent for the right candidate)
Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid counterbalance forklift licence? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for ensuring quality standards? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and diligent Warehouse/Forklift Operative to join our team in the Ink Department. This role is predominantly focused on warehouse operations, with a minor component involving forklift tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing Labels, Lids, and Straws etc: Accurately dispense and distribute these items to various companies.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all alignment and print work meets our high standards.
- Machine Operation: Operate and run the machinery efficiently.
- Data Logging: Use computer systems to log and track data accurately.
- Forklift Operations: Occasionally operate a forklift (approximately 20% of the role) to assist with warehouse duties. (MUST HAVE A FORKLIFT LICENCE)
Requirements:
- Forklift Licence: Must have a valid counterbalance forklift licence.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on ensuring quality and accuracy in all tasks.
- Computer Literacy: Competent in using computer systems for data logging and tracking.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical tasks within the warehouse setting.
