Vision for Education are recruiting for an outstanding, Science Teacher for a secondary school based in Bacup, Lancashire to start October 2024.  This is a part-time role, 4 days a week, with Tuesday off.

The role

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level.

The role is due to commence from October 2024, due to a resignation. The school have chosen to start the role on a temporary basis with the option to transfer to a permanent contract from January 2025. The school welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

The successful Science Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

Requirements

To be considered for the Science specialism Teacher role you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

• Be adaptable and flexible

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
