Futures are working with a well-known manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire who operate nationally, supply to a range of industries. Due to a period of continued growth we are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety policies and procedures. You will play a key role in fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

• Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety reviews to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up on corrective actions.

• Organize and deliver health and safety training sessions for employees and contractors.

• Maintain and update records, including safety documentation, incident reports, and compliance logs.

• Promote a positive health and safety culture across the organization.

• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and external stakeholders to address health and safety concerns.

• Stay up to date with health and safety legislation and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety

• 1-3 years of experience in a health and safety role within [construction/manufacturing/engineering, etc.].

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to maintain organized records.

• A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach.

• A valid driver’s license (where site visits are required).
