- Planning Audits: Participate in the planning phase of audit engagements, including understanding client business processes, assessing risks, and developing audit strategies.
- Executing Audits: Lead audit fieldwork by performing substantive testing, compliance testing, and analytical procedures to obtain audit evidence.
- Audit Reporting: Assist in the preparation of audit reports, including communicating audit findings and recommendations to management and those charged with governance.
- Supervising Staff:Â Supervise and review the work of junior audit team members, providing guidance, feedback, and training as necessary.
- Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact with the client during the audit process, addressing inquiries, discussing audit findings, and managing client expectations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Tax Compliance: Assist clients in tax planning and compliance activities, including preparing corporate, individual, partnership, and/or trust tax returns, and advising on tax optimization strategies.
- Newly qualified (ACA / ACCA), Part qualified due to qualify within 1 year or post qualified accountant.
- Experience working within audit for a firm of accountants.
