As the Interim Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring accurate reporting during a period of transition. Reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards.
- Managing month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Conducting inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors.
- Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with financial governance requirements and company policies.
- Working closely with internal teams to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong technical accounting background.
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial software and advanced Excel skills.
