Job Title: Interim Finance ControllerLocation: Doncaster (4 days onsite, 1 working from home)Contract: Temp-to-Perm, 9-month initial contract with potential for extensionElevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading business based in Doncaster who're looking to recruit an Interim Finance Controller to lead financial transformation across multiple entities.  The role emphasises the integration and upgrade of financial systems, process improvements, and consolidated reporting, aiming to create a more streamlined and efficient finance function.Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead consolidation and upgrade of financial systems across multiple business units, standardizing processes across locations and migrating all units to the latest version of SAGE
  • Oversee month-end close with a focus on reducing cycle times, improving cash flow forecasting, and refining reporting practices to support system enhancements
  • Drive digital transformation of manual processes, such as expense management and purchase order requisitions, implementing platforms like Concur to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Ensure audit readiness by maintaining compliance with regulations, following best practices, and enhancing year-end procedures for streamlined reporting
  • Act as a key liaison to internal stakeholders, delivering timely financial insights, updates, and progress reports to align finance integration projects with overall business objectives

Key Skills: 

  • Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
  • Experience in leading, mentoring and developing a finance team
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end financial system implementations/integrations
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced environments
