Your New Role as Senior Accountant:

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage your own client portfolio, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and VAT returns. You will provide high-level advice to clients on tax and accounting matters, and ensure that all financial reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner. In addition to client management, you will also supervise junior staff, reviewing their work and assisting in their development.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for clients from various industries. You'll provide proactive advice to clients on tax planning and business growth strategies, ensuring compliance with current regulations. Alongside client work, you will review and support the development of junior team members, ensuring their work meets the firm's high standards and deadlines.

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with significant experience working in a practice environment. You should have a solid understanding of accounting standards, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Experience in managing client relationships and mentoring junior staff is essential. Strong communication and organisational skills are key to thriving in this role.
