A fantastic Doncaster-based manufacturing business are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time and permanent basis. This business has expanded rapidly in recent years and is forecasted further success in the upcoming months ahead. Due to this, our client is excited to expand their finance team with the addition of a skilled Accounts Assistant.

The role of an Accounts Assistant within this business incorporates a wide variety of high-importance duties and is the perfect role for somebody with the relevant experience to sharpen their skillset in a fast-paced and vibrant workplace.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will oversee a range of processes, including the elements of the businesses’ sales and purchase ledgers, credit control and payroll.

This includes:

  • Inputting new starters/leavers, maternity etc. onto Sage
  • Managing timesheets
  • Processing sales & purchase invoices
  • Chasing payments via email & telephone
  • Assisting with weekly/monthly financial reporting
  • Reconciliations

  • Organised & attention to detail
  • Proficient in a variety of financial systems (Sage & Excel preferred)
  • Collaborative attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in similar role is preferred
