Assistant AccountantUp to £26,000Doncaster, South Yorkshire Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are working with a fantastic business in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.This is a an exciting and progressive opportunity which will see you supporting the company Accountants in managing financial tasks, with a focus on month-end processes and accurate financial reporting. This position involves providing assistance across multiple areas of financial operations, ensuring the smooth running of accounting functions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Posting financial journals
  • Managing accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting with purchase ledger tasks as required
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Performing ledger reconciliations
  • Supporting audits and compliance processes
  • Handling intercompany reconciliations
  • Undertaking ad-hoc tasks and preparing reports as needed

Key Skill Requirements:

  • AAT qualified or recent Accounting graduate (preferred)
  • Broad experience in accounting, with a desire for career growth
  • Proficiency in IT, especially Excel
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
