We are currently looking to recruit an Auto electrical Fitter for our automotive conversion specialist client based in Doncaster (DN6)

Working Hours:
This is a 4 day working week
Monday - Wednesday 06:00am - 16:00pm
Thursday 06:00am - 15:00pm


Pay Rate:
13 per hour, however the pay rate is negotiable depending on experience.
Good earning potential available.

The role of the Electrical Fitter is to install electrical installations to the highest standard in line with customer specification. Accountable for own quality of workmanship which may include testing, repairing and commissioning of systems. Complete installations in accordance with SBO fitting times. Electrical Fitters are accountable for following the company QMS procedure. Communicate issues to Supervisor or Team leader and keep a clean, safe working environment

Role Duties:

  • Check base vehicle matches paperwork
  • Check and report any damage to base vehicle
  • Carry out electrical installations to the correct specification in line with the build plan
  • Complete installations in line with SBO times
  • Obtain and follow BOM's and any relevant SOP's, photos and drawings
  • Work as part of a team
  • Transfer skills to other team members
  • Carry out instructions from Supervisors and team leaders
  • Help and support the Team leaders
  • Complete installations to required standards as specified by QC
  • Responsible for the completion of all relevant paperwork
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Carry out duties in line with Health and Safety requirements and make supervisor aware of potential Health & Safety issues
  • Log on and off correct SFDC operation in line with company policy
  • Adhere to relevant ISO / QMS process
