Red Recruitment is recruiting a Public Sector BDM in Doncaster to join our client, a technology, cloud and IT services company that is a trusted supplier of technical solutions to thousands of businesses and organisations across the UK.

You will be selling education connectivity and other IT equipment to state schools, therefore you will be required to have a background in sales.

The salary for this position is £30,000 per annum as well as uncapped commission.

Key Responsibilities of a Public Sector BDM:

  • Reaching out and arranging in-person meetings with the warm leads provided
  • Selling education connectivity and other IT equipment
  • Networking with other individuals within the academy to find new leads
  • Ensuring the equipment you sell will be beneficial to the school and will in return improve their Ofsted reports

Key Skills and Experience of a Public Sector BDM:

  • You must have a background in sales
  • You will also need to have a proven track record of closing deals
  • Confidence, great communication skills and being outgoing are all key attributes required
  • You will need access to your own vehicle (travel expenses will be paid)
