Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to work with a growing practice in Doncaster, currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their welcoming bookkeeping team on either a full-time or part-time basis (open to both).
About the Role: Join a dynamic team responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for clients, including:
- Bank reconciliations.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Clear communication with clients via verbal and written channels, ensuring timely responses.
- Additional tasks such as scanning and electronic filing as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience, ideally within an accountancy practice.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Sage, and Xero accounting software.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with VAT returns, reconciliations, and knowledge of VAT regulations and MTD.
- Familiarity with CIS returns and reconciling control accounts.
- Preferable experience in producing management accounts.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask, self-manage effectively, and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Efficient, organised, enthusiastic, and a team player.
