Ignition Drivers are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager, to be based at their branch inDoncaster.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a proven track record when it comes to running a busy recruitment branch, and you must be adept in both recruitment and sales as one main part of your role will be helping to grow and develop the business in the local area.

Own driving licence is necessary, laptop & company mobile isprovided as there will be some work you'll need to do out of hours, but you'll be part of a journey that will be both challenging, rewarding and provide job satisfaction in droves.

Working as a Branch Manager:
  • Direct management of existing well-established clients
    • This is not a cold start, as the branch has clients and drivers already engaged
    • Day to day client management including:
      • Fulfilling customer bookings
      • Recruitment planning
      • KPI & financial meetings
  • Responsible for the growth and development of the area, clients and building a strong team
  • Ensuring compliance is met at all times - in line with company procedure
  • Working to pre-set targets and objectives
  • Introducing innovative thinking and processes to already existing procedures
  • Keeping the branch clean, tidy and adhering to Health & Safety requirements
Please note that whilst this role is mostly managing HGV drivers, there may be some requirements to deal with warehousing flex-employees also.

The Working Hours of a Branch Manager:
The role is Monday to Friday, and we are looking for someone who can meet the requirement for flexibility when it comes to working hours and days. It is a full-time role, therefore 37.5 hours a week standard, but there will be requirements during busier periods for longer working hours and potential weekend working.

You may also be required to undertake an on-call facility to ensure thatyour drivers have a point of contact 24 hours a day. This on-call requirement is based on a rota, so you will not be on call all the time.

  • You will be already established as a Branch Manager
  • You will be a strong leader, able to develop others in a team environment
  • You will have a proven track record in training and developing recruitment teams
  • You will be a problem solver, able to identify and resolve potential issues where required
  • You will be confident in providing key reporting on critical team performance data
  • You will have an economic awareness, enabling the branch team to stay ahead of the current market
  • You will be able to demonstrate a stong background in sales
