Adecco's specialist Property Services Division - North are working with a affordable housing provider based in Yorkshire who are seeking an Interim Head of Repairs & Maintenance to join their team.

- Start date: As soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead repairs teams, including planning and administration, Direct Labour Organisation (DLO), customer feedback team, surveyors, and contract management.
- Manage activities and expenditures to ensure a reliable repairs service for both residential and non-residential properties.
- Collaborate with all departments and residents to modernise and optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the repairs service.
- Improve repairs performance, customer satisfaction, and in-house workforce productivity.
- Operate according to the company's delegation scheme and internal control framework.
Essential Requirements, Qualifications & Experience
- Skilled in engaging and using various communication methods with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in engaging and communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels through various methods.
- Has comprehensive experience of successfully managing in-house repair teams, and partnerships with sub-contractors.
- Proof of operating at a senior manager level with ability to influence and negotiate with customers, stakeholders and other partners.
- Previous experience working in a local authority or in the housing sector.
