CLASS 1 DRIVER

£15.00 - £22.34 PER HOUR
People Solutions are recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client based at their site in Thorne, South Yorkshire.
We are looking for day drivers and night drivers to work midweek and weekend.

Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday Days £15 per hour
- Monday to Friday Afternoons/Nights £17.19 per hour
- Saturday £18.61 per hour
- Sunday £22.34 per hour
Day to Day Duties
- Make on time deliveries
- Complete a mixture of store deliveries, trunk runs and trailer swaps at RDC's and docks
- Curtain side work
- Occasional tail lift work
- Positive 'can do' attitude
- Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Follow Company policies and procedures
- Comply with Driving rules and regulations
Essential Skills
- Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
- Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
- Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
- Work in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working on a general haulage contract is desirable but not essential
