Full Job Description:

M4 Specialist are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to work in the commercial and domestic recycling sector for our client based in Doncaster. Driving assessment Monday 14th April and Induction from Tuesday 15th April (must be available ongoing from this date).

What will I be doing as a Class 2 Driver ?The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from our clients’ customers, delivering a high standard of service and always ensuring compliance with our client’s customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own.

What are the requirements?You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service. Experience in waste industry welcomed but not essential as training will be provided.

The role of a Class 2 Driver also requires:• An HGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.• Experience of working with Rear Compaction Vehicles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.• Good local knowledge of the driving area, • Awareness of the safe operations of weighbridge and waste transfer station operations would be an advantage.

Pay rates for a Class 2 driver:• £13.52ph Days• £17.34ph Overtime• PAYE role only• Weekly pay

Requirements for the role of Class 2 driver:• Be aged 25 or over• Hold a valid UK Class 2 licence• Have valid CPC and Digi Card• No more than 6 points on your licence
