Job Description:
This is a full-time Monday to Friday tramping role with the opportunity to stay out overnight 4-5 nights a week. As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods across the UK, ensuring timely and safe transportation of various loads. This is a stable role with no cancellations, offering consistent, dependable work throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle for nationwide deliveries and collections.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure loads are securely fastened.
- Adhere to all driving regulations and working time directives.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the transport office.
- Ensure a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
Requirements:
- A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
- Experience in tramping work is preferred but not essential.
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently, with good time-management skills.
- Flexibility for overnight stays Monday to Friday.
