We are seeking a skilled Bench Joiner to become an integral part of our client's dynamic team. As a Bench Joiner, you will work closely with fellow team members, company management, and other departments to ensure the seamless execution of joinery tasks. Your role will involve analysing technical drawings, coordinating with the Joinery Supervisor, and optimising production schedules for accuracy and efficiency. We value continuous improvement and encourage proactive solutions to enhance productivity and minimise delays.

Hours - Monday - Thursday - 8am-4.30pm, Fridays - 8am - 3.30pm
Key Responsibilities of a Bench Joiner:
- Schedule Management: Ensure all schedules are accurate and up-to-date before starting tasks.
- Joinery Execution: Assist in completing all joinery aspects within the company, contributing to high-quality production.
- Issue Reporting: Identify and report any issues to the Joinery Supervisor for timely resolution.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and care for tools to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Efficiency Improvement: Actively seek ways to improve department efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to overall workplace efficiency.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to address and prevent delays or downtime.
- Maintenance Oversight: Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Adaptability: Undertake any other reasonable duties that may arise, supporting the company in achieving its business goals.
