We're looking for a Senior Residential Care Officer to help lead day-to-day care in our children's residential homes.In this role, you will:
  • Provide high-quality emotional, social, and physical support to children and young people
  • Lead shifts and support care planning, key work, and link work
  • Take part in care reviews, meetings, and progress tracking
  • Support young people through challenging behaviours or emotional distress
  • Help with household tasks and contribute to the smooth running of the home
  • Ensure accurate and compliant record-keeping in line with Children’s Homes Regulations
  • Provide supervision and support to team members when required
What you’ll need:
  • Level 3 QCF in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
  • Residential childcare experience
  • Great communication skills, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins and occasional crisis response
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
