The Project

As a Site Engineer, you will carry out setting out and engineering duties on groundworks & civils projects across Yorkshire, the Humber and Lincolnshire.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

  • CSCS Card
  • Driving Licence
  • HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

For this role it is desirable that you hold the following skills & experience below;

  • Experienced as a Setting Out / Site Engineer on Groundworks & Civils projects in the UK

The Role

  • Job Title: Site Engineer
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Reporting to: Site Manager

Duties

  • Supervising Works
  • Attend in-house progress meetings
  • Setting up and maintaining site control
  • Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
  • Ensuring compliance with works standards
  • Checking deliveries before being signed for
  • Setting out and surveying of the site
  • To attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
  • Aid in organising and supervise temporary works when required
  • Setting out for drainage, foundations, pipes, kerbs, roads & RC structures
  • Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
  • Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
  • Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
  • Ensure site progress pictures are taken and filed during each stake of the development
