Our client is a professional and well-respected Water Hygiene / Treatment company, with a UK-wide presence. Due to gaining new contracts in Yorkshire and the Midlands, they are seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to undertake a range of ACOP L8 duties to a high standard. This company is renowned for their excellent training and development opportunities as well as their customer service standards, so the ideal candidate would need to have a professional and efficient manner. You will be covering client sites across: Doncaster, Mexborough, Thorne, Goole, Scunthorpe, Rotherham, Leeds, Bradford, Barnsley, Castleford, Wakefield, Pontefract, Selby, Huddersfield, Halifax, Dronfield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Gainsborough, Lincoln, Bakewell, Matlock, Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottingham, Ilkeston, Derby.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a reputable Water Hygiene / Treatment company
- Excellent working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Able to undertake (as a minimum): Showerhead descales, TMV servicing, CWST cleans & disinfections, water sampling & temperature monitoring
- It would be beneficial to hold some basic remedial / plumbing experience
- Good literacy skills
- IT literate
- Interested in opportunities to further train and develop their skillset
The Role:
- Undertaking a variety of ACOP L8 maintenance duties for a range of local authority, commercial and public sector clients
- Inspections, cleans & disinfections on CWST (cold water storage tanks)
- Showerhead descales
- TMV servicing
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Acid descales
- Basic flushing of little used outlets
- Travelling to client sites and maintaining excellent working relationships
- Completing regular service reports and updating logbooks accordingly
