Highbridge Resourcing are working on behalf of a care provider that specialise in providing independent living in stand alone accommodation for young people.

We are recruiting an Outreach Support Worker to join a small team to support young people (16-18 years) who live independently in Doncaster. You will be travelling to visit a caseload of Young people and will work approximately 4-5 hours per visit.

Please note this role is working through agency and requires a start asap. It will be regular outreach work offering between 20-40 hours per week.

As a support worker you will be working on a one to one basis with the young person, supporting to live independently with daily living skills, socialising, education, liaison with family members and supporting with emotional needs and mental health.

We are looking for a support worker that can be flexible with their time and who can work a combination of day and weekend shifts.The outreach will be offered in 4 - 5 hour blocks.

It is essential that as an Outreach Support Worker you have:

  • NVQ level 3 in Social care or an equivalent qualification in health and social care (psychology, counselling, nursing etc)
  • Car driver desirable
  • At-least 6 months experience working with Young People in residential, 1 to 1 or supported living.
Successful applicants will be required to register with Highbridge Resourcing and will be required to meet our compliance standards including 2 satisfactory references and a clean enhanced DBS for children and adults.
