Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that all sites and contracts are fully monitored as per Scheduler and that any shortfalls are covered
- To have working knowledge of the Control Room manual
- To have working Knowledge of BS7499
- To have working knowledge of the Control Room manual
- Ensure that the BDS Control Room is manned to requirements at all times and to cover when required
- To ensure that the CCTV duties are carried out as instructed by the Technology Department and any issues are emailed to them and noted in CCTV Log
- To ensure that the Control Room handover is conducted and all relevant points are actioned accordingly and noted in the control log
- To ensure that all manned guarding sites accurately reflect the contracted hours on the Smart-Task system and any additional cover is marked accordingly, in order for accounts to invoice correctly
- To monitor the CCTV screens for the purpose of monitoring and detecting incidents and gathering information and evidence
- To undertake operation of all equipment and cameras within the CCTV department when and as required
- To maintain thorough records including Incident logs, Control Logs, and any other designated records within the NCC
- To assist police and any other authorised personnel to review images and download data as required in line with Data Protection and CCTV codes of practice
Knowledge and Experience
- Â MG or DS or CP & CCTV SIA licence
- Extensive experience in security, control room, working knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Human Rights act, surveillance regulations, understanding of safe working practices for lone workers
- Computer literate in MS Office packages
