iRecruit is currently seeking a Bench Joiner / Door Hanger on behalf of our client, a well established business in the Doncaster

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company in the industry, with the potential for permanent employment and development opportunities. As a Bench Joiner, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality wood products. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of woodworking techniques,door hang, attention to detail, and the ability to work from technical drawings to create precision products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce bespoke joinery items.
  • Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood components.
  • Manufacture, assemble, and finish custom woodwork, including doors, frames, windows, cabinets, and furniture.
  • Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, drills, and sanders safely and efficiently.
  • Measure and mark materials accurately to ensure precise cuts and fits.
  • Sand, finish, and apply stains or varnishes as required.
  • Work with a range of timber and wood-based products to create high-quality finished items.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all products meet customer specifications and high craftsmanship standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Repair and refurbish existing wood structures or furniture, when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-12.75per hour
