SALARY- £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
My client is looking for someone to join the Mechanical Design Engineering team focusing on Heavy Engineering for a range of sectors.
The Mechanical Design Engineerwill ideally have the following attributes:
- 4+ years experience of Mechanical Design
- Engineering qualification (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, BSc etc.) in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working with a range of materials, specifically steel
- Mechanical calculations experience
- Excellent 3D CAD skills (Solidworks)
- FEA analysis software experience
- Experience designing mechanical systems/components
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Be keen to develop with a company long term
The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:
- Working within the current engineering team
- Producing engineering documents in line with contracts and projects
- Producing 3D designs using CAD software
- Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks as required
