We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a vibrant school in the DN7 area. This role is a temporary position for two terms, ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare and deliver educational activities that promote all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
- Implement engaging and effective phonics sessions.
- Assess and record each child’s progress, ensuring the needs of all children are met within the setting.
- Manage classroom resources effectively, creating a stimulating environment conducive to learning.
- Maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and professionals to support child development.
- Utilise continuous provision to enhance children’s learning experiences across the curriculum.
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in accordance with school policies.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an EYFS setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and phonics.
- Experience with continuous provision and its implementation.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
