We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a vibrant school in the DN7 area. This role is a temporary position for two terms, ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver educational activities that promote all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Implement engaging and effective phonics sessions.
  • Assess and record each child’s progress, ensuring the needs of all children are met within the setting.
  • Manage classroom resources effectively, creating a stimulating environment conducive to learning.
  • Maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and professionals to support child development.
  • Utilise continuous provision to enhance children’s learning experiences across the curriculum.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in accordance with school policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in an EYFS setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and phonics.
  • Experience with continuous provision and its implementation.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
