We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher ECT to join a welcoming one-form entry school within a supportive multi-academy trust. The school has a higher-than-average number of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), providing a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to a diverse group of learners.
  • Planning and executing engaging lessons that cater to a wide range of needs and learning styles.
  • Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports all children, including those with SEND.
  • Assessing and recording children’s progress and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Contributing to the school community and participating in professional development opportunities within the multi-academy trust.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
  • Experience in or a strong desire to work within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to effectively support students with SEND.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early years educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Creativity, patience, and a positive approach to teaching.
