KS2 Teaching Assistant
Salary: £85-£90 per dayLocation: DN2, Doncaster Role: long-term - potential for permanent opportunities.
Reed Education is currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with Key Stage 2 experience to work with one of our partner schools in the DN2 area. The school is a fun and vibrant community which promotes inclusivity and has a variety of wonderful facilities available to the students.

Daily responsibilities as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
- Work in collaboration with the class teacher to support children to engage in lessons, taking the time to work with children who may need additional support.
- Work with class teachers and SENCO to support children with EHCP and IEP’s ensuring they receive equitable support to meet their targets.
- Deliver small group, and 1:1, intervention sessions in key topics such as phonics and numeracy to work towards pupil progress.
- Monitor and report on individual pupil progress, working with the class teacher to target specific areas of development.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification.
- Recent experience working within UK primary schools. (paid or voluntary)
- An understanding of child development and the KS2 curriculum.
- Previous experience delivering SATs interventions would be desirable.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service. (or willingness to obtain one)
