We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated school. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including nursery and reception classes. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about contributing to the development of young learners.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively across nursery and reception classes.
  • Utilise Read, Write, Inc phonics methodologies to enhance student learning.
  • Engage with children to foster an environment conducive to active learning.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support the classroom teacher with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom management.
  • Assist in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess HLTA status or relevant educational qualifications.
  • Proven experience in delivering educational content in EYFS.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Read, Write, Inc phonics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and committed to child development.
