Veritas Education is looking for a Behavioural Intervention Assistant to work in a special school in Doncaster, providing focused support to students with SEMH. If you're experienced in behaviour management and have a passion for working with young people, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role
* Supporting students with SEMH needs by implementing behaviour management plans and strategies.
* Working closely with teaching staff to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
* Providing 1:1 support and tailored interventions to help students improve their emotional regulation and social skills.
* Assisting with de-escalating challenging behaviours and creating a calm, structured environment.
* Encouraging positive social interaction and helping students develop coping strategies.

Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with students with SEMH or behavioural difficulties is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies (e.g., Team Teach) is a plus.
* Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with students.
