Veritas Education is looking for a Behavioural Intervention Assistant to work in a special school in Doncaster, providing focused support to students with SEMH. If you're experienced in behaviour management and have a passion for working with young people, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role* Supporting students with SEMH needs by implementing behaviour management plans and strategies.* Working closely with teaching staff to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.* Providing 1:1 support and tailored interventions to help students improve their emotional regulation and social skills.* Assisting with de-escalating challenging behaviours and creating a calm, structured environment.* Encouraging positive social interaction and helping students develop coping strategies.

Ideal Candidate* Experience working with students with SEMH or behavioural difficulties is highly desirable.* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies (e.g., Team Teach) is a plus.* Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.* Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with students.
