We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school team, focusing on Key Stage 2 (KS2). This role is ideal for someone who has experience in supporting SATs preparation and holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist in the delivery of daily lessons specifically tailored to KS2 students.
- Provide targeted support to students preparing for SATs, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with the lead teacher to implement lesson plans and educational activities.
- Facilitate small group sessions and one-to-one support for students needing extra help.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Proven experience in supporting SATs preparation.
- Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Passionate about helping children develop academically and personally.
