Job Title: General Operative
Location: IPORT, Doncaster, DN11
Hours Available: 06:00 to 18:00 (days), 4 days on 4 days off basis.
Hourly Rate for Days: 11.44
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
GI Group Recruitment are now seeking to appoint General Operatives to our reusable packaging client based in Iport, Doncaster. Our client pride themselves on being an industry leader and sustainability pioneer. We're looking to speak with motivated & reliable candidates who want to learn new skills and develop with a business who are in a period of growth. The Production Operative covers a range of duties from product repairs, packaging organisation, quality checking, loading, stacking and unloading.
Duties of the General Operative
* Preparation of products for re-use.
* Ensuring the productivity and efficiency targets are achieved.
* Carry out various hygiene tasks.
* Loading and unloading products onto bespoke machinery.
* Sort & organize products into correct sizes whilst ensuring quality monitored.
* Ensuring that site Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures are followed.
* Contributing to a wider team effort in order to make every day a success.
Criteria
* Positive team player able to contribute ideas and support the wider team as and when required.
* Reliable and effective communicator.
* Hygiene aware with a tidy as go mindset.
* Ability to understand and follow health and safety policies and procedures.
* An organised individual who takes pride in their work.
* Ability to work day shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis.
Full and ongoing training is provided for this role.
