Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their facility in Doncaster. 

Hours – Mon-Friday, 6am-4pm 

Salary – £43,312.50 per annum

Overtime Rates – Time and half Mon-Sat and double time on Sundays

Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will provide maintenance, installation and upgrade work around the plant.

Duties of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • Day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery
  • Site electrical installations and upgrade work around the plant
  • Electrical maintenance of plant, including ppm system
  • Routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including the completion of risk assessments
  • Troubleshoot and solve proven problems
  • Provide production support within the Shift team and provide shift cover when required
  • Assisting other mechanical/operational departments 

We are keen to speak with Electrical Maintenance Engineers with the following: 

  • Electrician Apprenticeship/Qualification 
  • Familiarity with general factory maintenance practices 
  • Extensive electrical experience working in a continuous process environment
  • Proven experience with fault-finding
  • Be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives 
  • Prior experience in electrical/mechanical breakdowns
  • Experience installing and working with circuit boards, power supplies, meters, lighting, electrical points and electrical wiring

To be successful in this role you must be able to work individually and as part of a team, work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and able to multi-task and prioritise workload.
