Alecto Recruitment is working with a leader in the food waste Anaerobic Digestion sector, our client is actively looking for a qualified Electrician to work at their site in Doncaster.

Package:

• Circa 43,000 DOE
• Hours - 45 hours per week
• Weekly Pay
• Holiday Allowance - 21 days, plus bank holidays to increase gradually with length of service at set intervals.

As an Electrical Technician your duties and responsibilities will vary but will include:

• Regular maintenance and upgrades of plant machinery and electrical systems.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
• Participating in the plant's electrical maintenance and preventive maintenance program.
• Performing scheduled electrical repairs and risk assessments.
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
• Providing shift support and covering additional shifts as needed.
• Assisting in mechanical and operational tasks when necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Ideally have experience of an Anaerobic Digestion facility or related experience.
• You must have served a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship.
• Have extensive electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
• Have proven experience with fault finding, including troubleshooting and solving problems.
• Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices.
• Be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives.
• You must be able to work using your own initiative.
• Be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
• Be able to communicate well at all levels.
• You must be a motivated individual.
