Elevation Recruitment are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer. Our client is a leading supplier of specialist hydraulic components and systems, known for delivering innovative solutions to a variety of industries. 

The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to work on cutting-edge projects involving the design and integration of RF components into hydraulic control systems. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring systems meet high-performance standards in industrial and demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test RF circuits and systems for integration into hydraulic applications.
  • Analyze RF performance and optimize designs to meet stringent industry standards.
  • Develop PCB layouts for RF and mixed-signal applications using CAD tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF electronics into mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct RF simulation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and minimize interference.
  • Create technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and user manuals.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging RF technologies to improve system performance.
  • Provide technical support for prototype development and production scaling.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in RF electronics design, including RF circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in RF simulation tools and PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, ADS, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of antenna design, impedance matching, and EMI/EMC considerations.
  • Experience with RF system integration in industrial or hydraulic applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller programming.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
