Commercial Finance AnalystDoncaster, South Yorkshire Up to £30,000Elevation Accountancy & Finance are thrilled to have partnered exclusively with a business based in Doncaster who, due to acquisition and growth are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst into their team. This role includes providing financial reporting, supporting strategic planning, and fostering strong cross-functional partnerships. A key responsibility is ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and financial targets while improving and streamlining reporting efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate financial and operational data to assess commercial performance and compliance with revenue models
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support financial decision-making
- Work alongside Commercial and Retail teams to analyse performance metrics and provide actionable insights
- Prepare internal and external reports covering key business areas such as sales, promotions, pricing, and compliance
- Contribute to audit processes, ensuring accurate financial data collection and analysis
- Provide analytical support to finance and commercial teams as required
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experienced in financial analysis, budgeting, and/or forecasting
- Strong understanding of key financial statements
- Proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with Power BI and SQL for data analysis and reporting (preferred)
- Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into recommendations
- Strong interpersonal skills to partner effectively with commercial and finance teams
- Proactive and thorough approach to financial analysis and reporting
